USA PREPS 2015 NATIONALS TOURNAMENT

ONLY THE CAMP IS INSTRUCTIONAL. DURING THE GAMES, COLLEGE COACHES WILL BE PRESENT TO WATCH YOUR GAMES, BUT NOT BE ABLE TO GIVE INSTRUCTION TO YOUR PLAYERS!

Dates/Location: November 6-8, 2015, Palmdale/Lancaster, CA Age Groups: 14U, 16U, & 18U

Event Format:	College Coaches Coaches Instructional Camp will run Friday November 6th from 8am-12pm. Click here for more information about the Camp 4 Game Guarantee. 3 pool play games, then single elimination. All teams in this tournament must have a minimum of 3 players from their team participate in the camp. Each player that wants to participate can sign-up online and make monthly payments. Payment in full must be made 30 days prior to the tournament.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Friday, November 6th - Instructional Camp, Team Competitions, Opening Ceremonies and All-Star Games
Saturday, November 7th - Pool Play
Sunday, November 8th - Single Elimination Games, Championship Day!

Friday, November 6, 2015:
8:00am-12:00pm: Camp Sessions (every session runs every hour)
12:15pm-12:45pm: Lunch
12:45pm-2:00pm: Team Competitions
2:45pm - 3:45pm: Opening Ceremonies
4:15pm - 6:15pm: All Star Games

Team Competitions:

Road Runner (2 from each team): Individual players will compete for the fastest player at the event. Home to Home. Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place

Home Run Derby (1 from each team): Individual players will compete to show their power. 10 front tossed balls. Hit-off if necessary. Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place

Diamond Drill (9 from each team): This is a team competition. Up to 9 players from a team will compete in a defensive skills event that includes throwing and catching. Each team will be timed and the team with the lowest time wins! Catcher to Catcher timed. Ball starts with pitcher. The throws go as listed below:
Pitcher to Catcher, Catcher to 1B, 1B to SS(at 2B base), SS to 3B, 3B to LF, LF to RF, RF to CF, CF to 2B(at 2B base), 2B to Catcher.
Each infield player must either tag plate or base. Outfielders will be in circles. Must stay inside the circle to catch and throw the ball. Three second penalty if thrown outside the circle. If there is a bad throw, only the player the ball was thrown to can retrieve it and return to original spot before throwing.

Championship Games

As a participant in the USA Preps Nationals, you will be playing against the best teams from across the nation for the National Title! You must qualify and be selected to participate in this event. How do you qualify? You must have participated in a USA Preps event earlier in the year and placed 1st or 2nd in your pool. If you have not qualified and are requesting an invite, you must have at least participated in a USA Preps event in 2015.

The USA Preps Nationals are being held in Southern California, on 16 fields at (2) 8 field locations only 5 minutes apart on November 6th, 7th and 8th. The USA Preps Nationals is the place to perform for college coaches. Over 40 coaches have already confirmed they will be in attendance and we're expecting approximately 50 or more. Each and every coach in attendance knows that every team had to qualify for this event and is considered to be the best in the country!

Event Awards:

1st and 2nd place in each division will receive a team award and individual awards. 1st place will also receive USA Preps National Champion t-shirts. 1st and 2nd place will receive a berth to the USA Preps 2016 Nationals.
